SO HAPPY.
I got my copies of The Unwritten 1-3 paperbacks back from Lemonayde during the slumber party weekend before last. I loaned them to her some time last summer but they’ve been MIA since then! Luckily meowling-quim has a keen eye and spotted them tucked away on the book shelf.
LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE, REUNITED WITH THEIR BROTHERS.
Everyone should read The Unwritten.
Yes, that means you.
It is like if Harry Potter was real in a deep literary conspiracy kind of way, stretching back to the root of storytelling and thought itself, chalked full of allusions and symbolisim and so many things I hold dear.
Do not spoil yourself, but do check it out.
I adore it.
Look at this kawaii motherfucker!
This is one of my besties, Lemonayde <3
I’ve been badgering her to wear my Supergirl costume from Halloween 2010 for ages now! I try to get her into various costumes all the damn time and, mostly, it is fruitless.
But I finally forcibly coerced her into this one by showing her how cute she is in it! >:D
There are many things that I need to fix before she wears it at a convention but I literally thrifted every item (wig aside, though I have found some bitching wigs thrifting, no joke) in this for Work Halloween party so it is pretty quality for such a thing, I think. I’m trying to get her to buy a light blue top that I can attach the shield to instead of the one pictured. I also have a new cape to match my Power Girl and The Boyfriend’s Superman too. The belt isn’t even attached here, it is just fabric looped around her and held in place with a scrunchy.
No make-up here, since we are at a slumber party and we have more important things to do than gunk up our faces.
Isn’t she cute as fuck though, even in my ghetto costume?
Reblog and express how cute as fuck she is, please.
The more enthusiasm I can show her, the more frequent I fill be able to force ask her to cosplay with me~~
