The photos I’m submitting to the Women of Comicbook Cosplay 2012 Calendar!
I’m not happy with the colors, though. I booted up my old laptop in order to use photoshop and make these photos less dreary but once I switched back to my good lappy the colors looked far too bright.
Oh well, it is too late to do anything now!
I don’t care what month I end up with, though I think PG would look nice in the winter, like Jan or Dec. Anything of the other costumes that have a clear them are obviously more suited for being picky over the month assignment.
I’m sad I still don’t have any professional-esque photots of this costume. I’d hope to have something new/better by the time submissions rolled around. :/

I love Power Girl.
Why is there almost nothing but porn in the power girl tag?
[sad faces] Dude, I know people have feelings about the boob window, but she’s a strong, amazingly cool character and I love the way Jimmy Palmiotti writes her.
I’m disappointed.

Erlak. These costumes are clearly well made but the New 52 designs are still terrible/Wow. Someone actually cosplayed the New 52 Power Girl costume, and it still looks awful.
That “P” on the left side just does not work. It makes the costume look asymmetrical as fuck. I’d feel A LOT better about it if it was more on the centre. XP

This is wonderful!
It is amazing to see Invincible’s artist draw PG.
Truly a crossover I never expected, it has taken me by surprise by being amazing.
If you haven’t read Invincible yet you should, it is undoutably one of the best superhero comics.
Also, I’m going to cosplay from it.
And it will be fanfuckingtastic, yep.

Dallas Comic Con was ‘aight.
Very crowded though!
I’m so used to that con being tiny it was an interesting change of pace.
It was pretty much impossible to find anyone, sadly. I was looking for my Atlee cosplayer friend but with 3 floors and numerous nooks and crannies it just didn’t happen. ;___;
I’ve also decided I wanna remake PG sometime this year, from the ground up. New boots, new boot covers, new gloves, cape and leotard. Perhaps something that isn’t held together with hope and safety pins this time, hmm?
And do you guys know who just got more excited for A-kon?

I needed a medium between tumblr and dA. I try to save dA for good photos of finished costumesbut those are few and far between so I end up never updating. Tumblr is terrible to navigate for non-tumblrs and things get all lost and jumbled up: a total mess.
